Satisfying “mackerel rice burger” recipe

It is a hearty dish with fried mackerel Tatsuta sandwiched between rice. Excellent compatibility with sweet and spicy sauce. The slightly fragrant wasabi mayonnaise is an irresistible menu.

Ingredients

For 2 people

・White rice 2 bowls (400g)
・Mackerel (half body) 2 slices
・sunny lettuce 2 sheets
・Green onion (white part) 4cm
・salt a little
・Potato starch (for mixing with rice) 1 tablespoon
・Potato starch (for sprinkling on mackerel) 1 tablespoon
・Sesame oil 2 tablespoons
・Salad oil Appropriate amount

【seasoning】
・sweet sake 2 tablespoons
・soy sauce 1 tablespoon
・mayonnaise 1 tsp
・wasabi 1/2 teaspoon

How to make

1.Cut the sunny lettuce into pieces that are easy to eat.

2.Make a shallow cut in the green onion, take out the center, cut into julienne and soak in water for 5 minutes to drain.

3.Sprinkle salt on mackerel and sprinkle with potato starch.

4.Put warm rice and potato starch (for mixing with rice) in a bowl, mix well, divide into 4 equal parts, wrap in wrap, and make a round shape by hand.

5.Put sesame oil in a frying pan, heat it, line up the rice and bake on medium heat for 3 minutes until it turns brown, then turn it over and bake for another 3 minutes.

6.Put the vegetable oil in the same frying pan and fry the mackerel on medium heat for 5 minutes, turning it upside down until it is cooked. Wipe off the remaining oil, add mirin and soy sauce, and then mix.

7.Mix wasabi and mayonnaise in a bowl to make wasabi mayonnaise.

8.Apply wasabi mayonnaise to the rice, put sunny lettuce, mackerel and green onions on it, and sandwich it with rice.
